Hi friend! My name is Liz and I am the creator of Delighting Soul and Liz Anderson Photography and Design. The Lord continues to use my tumultuous life to teach me not only how to be adaptable, but also that I can put my trust completely in him. I have lived through hurricanes, deployments, overseas moves, layoffs, and now a pandemic! And through it all, the Lord has been faithful.

Know that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps his gracious covenant loyalty for a thousand generations with those who love him and keep his commands.

Deuteronomy 7:9

Through experiences such as growing up in a Christian home and going to seminary, I am realizing what a gift it is to have godly influences in your life to point you back to the gospel. My prayer is that this blog and artwork will serve you practically and build you up spiritually by providing consistent reminders that regardless of the chaos that may be ensuing around you—or inside of you—your soul can always delight itself in the Lord.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Finally brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellence and if there is anything praiseworthy—dwell on these things. Do what you have learned and received and heard from me, and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
